Melanie M. Licciardi

Melanie M. Licciardi is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and an associate of the firm.  She provides counsel in family law, including divorce, custody, paternity, visitation, child support, spousal support, property partitions, adoptions and Protective Orders/Restraining Orders.  She also handles personal injury, bankruptcy, successions, and criminal law matters.  Melanie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, in just three years from Louisiana State University.  She went on to Loyola University College of Law earning her Juris Doctorate degree.  Melanie worked in the legal field while receiving her education, interning for the Honorable Nancy A. Konrad of Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court and later clerking at several local law firms.

Melanie has experience litigating both criminal and civil cases at both the district court and appellate court levels.  Melanie is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s trial school and is licensed to practice in all Louisiana District Courts, all Louisiana Appellate Courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court and the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.  She is also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, St. Bernard Bar Association, and the Jefferson Bar Association.
